V Haddad is a filmmaker and portraitist working with people and stories. She sees events living in and between us. Each of her works makes use of documentary approaches but aims to hold the malleable and emotional world surrounding each subject. Their histories, ghosts and visions

for the future are the goal: to be reflected in unique visual approaches and experiments. She accounts for herself in the making, in creating documentation and does not hide the work of her work.

V is the co-creator of Slopehouse Productions where she collaboratively makes documentaries and music videos with a range of approaches from high production value and full crews to I-Phones and degrading VHS tapes. She received a BFA from The Cooper Union in New York (2014), studied at The New School and L’École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
She is an MFA Candidate at UCLA in the New Genres department.
Her video work has been featured on NPR, Stereogum, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone Magazine and screened at SXSW.
